A small family run site in the village of Hardraw and surrounded by the breathtaking landscape of upper Wensleydale. The site is on the Pennine Way (route to Shunner Fell and Swaledale) and the famous Hardraw Force is located a few minutes walk from the village. Sorry no dogs allowed.

All campers to book in at the Cart House Tea Room before pitching (open 10.00am to 5.00pm) - vegetarian breakfast available from 10.00am until 11.30am.

We do not operate a booking system (operate on a first come first served basis) but at Bank Holidays it is advisable to ring to check availability. However, group bookings must be organised by prior arrangement (01969 667 6910). Please ring NOT email.

We have limited space for small camper vans/caravans by prior arrangement (01969 667 691). Please ring NOT email. However, please bear in mind the following: restricted access to site; no hard standing; no electric hook-up.

Hardraw is situated 1.5 miles from the market town of Hawes where there are distinctive clothes/outdoor/antique/craft and food shops, cafes, restaurants and banking facilities.

From the village it is a short journey of 6 miles to Garsdale Railway Station where passengers can make frequent daily excursions to Leeds, Skipton, Carlisle and the Eden Valley on the picturesque Settle-Carlisle Railway.
