Hardraw Village is home to Andrea Hunter who has worked as a professional artist for several years. She now works almost exclusively using felt as a medium. Visitors to Hardraw are welcome to view her pictures on display at the Cart House, and can also try their hand at the ancient craft of felt making at her workshop and gallery just across the road. The visit is sure to be an interesting one to adults and children of all ages.Bushby Garth Felt Workshop is open Easter to October.

Another artist, Ann Fawcett, from Askrigg, also has a selection of distinctive silk screen prints and cards available at the Cart House. Anne is a graduate of fine art and her work includes interpretation of the local landscape in a unique and profound way.
